8 or 9-ball billiards best tips for advanced players BCA Rules?
Looking for links to sites with pool pic the best advice, strageties, etc. for 8 ball or 9 ball Rules BCA advanced players hesitate to send some of your own! Thanks
First, my hat off to you for recognizing the superiority BCA rules. Hopefully more people like you lived in my hometown. Anyway, Tony makes some good points. BCA website is always a good starting point. Also I agree that Robert Byrne is a great author BCA HOF. Phil Cappelle has some great books available in the strategies of different pool games. Larry Schwartz is a book entitled "The 8-Ball Manual for the winners." Also check out the writings of George Fels. He has a great book called, "A smarter way to Pool learn. "You can not cover what some consider" advanced "techniques, but much of what he says is very similar to how I teach my own students. We differ on a few points, but even differ on some points with my BCA Master Instructor. As BCA instructor myself, of course I will recommend to find an instructor certificate in your area. I know you asked web links, but I'm always a little skeptical of "suggestions" and "tips" published online. Often the advice given is not really tested and, probably, works of authorship, and only a few other like-minded people. Best of luck. MD-BCA Instructor / Arbitrator.
